2024 has been an amazing year for candy releases, and we would love to see more! 🤩
It’s Christmas once again, which means that we will get more candy than ever! While there are a lot of Christmas candy releases like The Grinch-themed Kisses and Twizzlers Candy Trees, there’s a new line of candies in the first few months of 2025. Now, what you’re about to see are the next candy releases for next year. Better get those candy salad bowls ready, as you’re about to fill them with some of these exciting new candy releases.
Butterfinger Salted Caramel
It’s been years since Butterfinger last innovated a new flavor. Now that they’re under their new Italian company, Ferrero, they’re taking this opportunity for a new Butterfinger variety. And with that, say hello to the new Salted Caramel Butterfinger that’s dropping at stores this coming 2025.

The Salted Caramel Butterfinger probably has the same filling as the classic Butterfinger but with a salted caramel flavoring. No other public information is made available for this candy treat. Given the information spread among food bloggers, they will be hitting more grocery and convenience store shelves by 2025. Until then, you can grab a classic Butterfinger bar available at your local stores.
Jolly Rancher Treats
If you’re craving a fruity and juicy candy treat, then Jolly Rancher is the obvious solution! This is why they cover a huge space in TikTok’s famous candy salad bowls. Next year, they’re surprising fans by releasing two new fruity candy options by early 2025. Who knew candy salad bowls could be this exciting? Choose any of the two to fill those salad bowls:

- Chewy Poppers – This new candy treat features crunchy and chewy poppable candy bites. Inside its crispy shell and chewy core lies a fruit burst filling that will pop in every bite.
- Freeze-Dried Candy – These freeze-dried candies are all over the internet, and Jolly Rancher is driving that trend! These candies had their moisture removed in a freeze-drying process. As a result, it has a different texture but a longer lifespan.

Lemonhead Ropes
This nostalgic citrus candy is expanding their product offering with their new Lemonhead Ropes. It features long and chewy candy ropes that resemble the SweeTARTS candy ropes. Looking at the picture, it has a light yellow coloring, which acts like a filling when you bite onto the ropes.

Reese’s Red Velvet Peanut Butter Cups
While many people may have questioned if it’s real, Reese’s has finally come to light to reveal a red velvet-flavored treat for 2025’s Valentine’s Day. The treat features the top half of the chocolate being replaced with a red velvet-flavored cream. The cups on the bottom have the same milk chocolate, while the filling still bears the same Reese’s peanut butter filling.

To make things even more exciting, this was actually the first time that Reese’s created a special flavor for Valentine’s Day. Their seasonal releases have been limited only to shaped characters that have the same flavors as their original ones. Now, they’re exploring the flavor market for desserts, and red velvet happens to be one of the first few tries by Excek.
SweeTARTS Gummy Halos
SweeTARTS is heading in a gummy direction, and they’re expanding their line to accompany their Gummies Fruity Splitz. Introducing the Gummy Halos, which are available at stores nationwide. It features halo-shaped gummies that are two-toned in flavors of blue punch and strawberries and cream. They’re available to get in stores now.

From The Club
It’s been a long time since I was last obsessed with candies, and I’m trying to steer away from sweets. But in 2025, I’m not that sure about it after learning of these exciting releases. I’m especially excited for Lemonhead Ropes as someone who was a fan of Trolli’s Strawberry Rope Stix when I was young. I’m also eyeing Reese’s Red Velvet Peanut Butter Cups as a Reese’s fan and red velvet cake lover. Hopefully, I see them on grocery shelves by early 2025.
