The holiday season is fast approaching and you can tell it by the festive snack releases we’re getting! If you’ve seen our recent roundup of new breakfast items, you know what I mean 👀. During this season, cookies couldn’t be more popular. Baking them is a tradition for many families, but today, you can bring home the festive spirit by getting the new holiday cookies from Chips Ahoy! and OREO. ‘Tis the season of giving, so make sure that you share them with loved ones and spread the sweet word.
Chips Ahoy!’s Chewy Hot Cocoa
The fall season has the pumpkin craze; in winter, it’s going to be hot cocoa everything! Chips Ahoy! is one brand to honor this classic drink by bringing back a crowd-favorite product: Chips Ahoy! Chewy Hot Cocoa. These scrumptious cookies were last seen in 2016 and are now returning in a more vibrant, Christmassy packaging. The cookies are baked with cocoa and marshmallow chips and then topped with white and milk chocolate chips for added sweetness.
Some say that Hot Cocoa cookies taste good straight out of package but even better when warmed up; the melted chocolate makes them so crave-worthy! These returning cookies from Chips Ahoy! will be available in US and Canada stores that carry the brand.
OREO’s Limited Edition Festive Cookies
OREO is also releasing its new Limited Edition OREO Festive Cookies that will officially go on sale in November. This new item will still feature the brand’s signature chocolate cookie, but this time, with five holiday-themed embossments. The OREO Festive Cookies will have a dual layer of green and red-colored creme filling. Get them at Target and Walmart stores while supplies last.
In collaboration with these major retailers, OREO is also set to “OREO-fy the seasonal aisles by putting up pallet displays designed to give off playful and festive vibes. The displays will likewise showcase OREO’s new holiday cookies, which will be available in 3 pack sizes. Choose from 4-count king size packs, 14-count laydown bags, and 45-count stand-up bags. The best part is the cookies are individually wrapped within each pack, making them ideal for sharing!
