Mountain Dew fans, listen up! Your favorite thirst-quencher drink is giving you the chance to win a free Mountain Dew for a year! Hold up, I know you’re excited (who wouldn’t be thrilled to win a free drink for a year?), but it isn’t actually easy to join because it involves traveling to a place that might be far from home. If you’re up, then keep on reading.

Mountain Dew is encouraging fans to seek the thrill of the outdoors through “Do the Dew” by offering a free Mountain Dew. But where do you go? Well, in case you missed it, Mountain Dew announced Mountain Time as an official, unofficial time zone of the brand. Now, if you want to snag a free Mountain Dew, you need to travel in the Mountain Time Zone.

Starting now until December 31, 2024, fans who crossed the Mountain Time by foot, vehicle, or airplane will get the chance to join by signing up online. Head over to WelcomeToMtnTime.com and enter your email address before you plan to go on a trip. After arriving at Mountain Time, open the page again to claim your voucher for a free Mountain Dew.

Are you ready to take the adventure and Do The Dew?

How About a Free Mountain Dew For a Year?

Okay, so if you want to keep pushing for a free Mountain Dew for a year, all you need to do is move into the Mountain Time Zone. Easy right? 😂But if you actually plan to do so, then Mountain Dew will cover your moving expenses of up to $10,000.

Mountain Dew, through the Mountain Dew Hauls promotion, will choose five lucky winners who will be relocating to the Mountain Time Zone, and aside from the moving expenses, they will give the winners free Mountain Dew for a year. Winners will also receive a Mountain Dew-themed outdoor gear as a welcome package. This gear could be used as safety gear for when movers decide to take on the dew by trying outdoor activities.

To join, fans must create a TikTok video stating why they are looking to move to the Mountain Zone and, of course, explain how they plan on enjoying the outdoors once they get there. Remember to use the hashtags #MountainDewHauls and #contest when sharing your video.

So whether you’re out on a backpacking trip with friends or moving there, seize the chance to join in the mountain fun and take on the dew challenge.

Let’s Deep Dive on Do The Dew Promotions

According to StatSocial, an online measurement platform, Americans living in the Mountain Time Zone are +6% more cheerful than the typical American. With their fresh air, breathtaking mountain views, and natural surroundings, their living conditions would top the notch. That’s the reason why Mountain Dew chose Mountain Time as a place they would officially unofficially own.

Mountain Dew’s new brand character, The Mountain Dude, invites fans to live in Mountain Time. Standing in his neon green fur jacket and Mountain Dew bottle in hand, it looks like The Mountain Dude has mastered the art of Do The Dew in his life. Now you know why he makes the perfect character!

JP Bittencourt, Vice President of Marketing at Mountain Dew, said that the outdoors has been a core of their brand. They want to encourage fans to do the same and embrace the Mountain Time mindset by giving away an exciting prize of free Mountain Dew to those who took part in the Do The Dew challenge.

From The Club

I must say that the promotion of Mountain Dew is really crazy (in a good way, of course). The official unofficial marking of the Mountain Time Zone as theirs also marks the first time in history for a brand to claim an official unofficial timezone. But what do you expect? Mountain Dew would definitely do the most unique of things, including helping movers with their finances. I mean, a free Mountain Dew for a year is one, but offering up to $10,000 in moving expenses is another. Indeed, brands are coming out of one-of-a-kind promotions for fans. I’m not complaining, tho!
