Nespresso has been one of the pioneer brands to blend technology with coffee brewing, and now, the brand goes beyond machines and coffee accessories to bring us coffee’s best potential.
Nespresso USA just launched a new line of honey products called Nespresso Bloom, marking its first lineup in the honey category. This launch features honey sourced from the same coffee plants that Nespresso harvests their coffee, showcasing the brand’s commitment to regenerative farming practices.

Alfonso Gonzalez Loeschen, CEO of Nespresso North America, explained that supporting sustainable coffee farming is essential to the brand’s values. He noted that this new product line reflects how sustainability drives innovation at Nespresso. The goal is to protect the future of coffee while enhancing the coffee experience for customers.
With honey gaining popularity on social media, particularly in Tiktok with the #coffeetok trend, and in coffee shops as a natural sweetener, the Nespresso Bloom range provides coffee lovers with exciting new ways to enhance the taste of their beverages and meals.
The first two products in this line are harvested from the same coffee flowers of the Nespresso Master Origins Colombia capsule. These offer limitless possibilities for coffee, pastries, breakfast bites and more:
- Coffee Blossom Honey: This raw honey gives off a delicate floral taste with smooth caramel and vanilla flavors, making it an ideal partner for every Nespresso coffee. It can also be used as drizzle on desserts like affogato, yogurt, whipped ricotta, and more.
- Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup: This syrup mixes Coffee Blossom Honey with Nespresso coffee. It gives off a refined flavor that’s ideal for enhancing your favorite coffee recipes. It also adds a rich coffee profile to drinks like macchiatos and food like waffles.

New Products But The Same Commitment to Sustainable Coffee Souring
Nespresso has a long-standing commitment to sustainable coffee sourcing through its AAA Sustainable Quality Program. For over 20 years, Nespresso, through its program, has continuously worked with coffee farmers to enhance coffee quality through sustainable agriculture practices while ensuring they have fair incomes for the succeeding years.
Bees are nature’s players in the coffee cherry production, but threats like climate change and other factors like pesticide use have been putting them at risk. While climate change is a threat to nature’s biodiversity and coffee livelihood, Nespresso is focused to ensure the sustainability of coffee crops for future generations.

Nespresso’s efforts in Colombia focus on working with local farmers in the Caldas-Antioquia region, known for having most Rainforest Alliance-certified AAA farms. These farmers are eager to adopt innovative regenerative farming practices, such as beekeeping.
Since 2020, Nespresso has worked with UBEES to include beehives and smart monitoring technologies on AAA farms in this region. This partnership helps farmers transition to beekeeping, boost natural pollination of coffee plants, and enhance their income opportunities.
The Nespresso Bloom products are set to be available exclusively in Nespresso Boutiques in New York City and San Francisco starting August 7. Then, on August 21, the Coffee Blossom Honey and Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup will launch nationwide on Nespresso.com, although quantities will be limited due to the amount of honey produced in the first harvest.
