Who says you can’t have a jug of refreshing Capri Sun juice during the Fall season? Drink up as Capri Sun is bringing you a special gift that you can use this Holiday season.
Do you relive your childhood memories by stacking up some Capri Sun pouches in your fridge? It’s a good thing that Capri Sun has come up with fan-favorite flavors in a new jug size, so you can trade those pouches and save up space in your fridge.
After the splashy spring debut and the demand for the multi-serve bottles, Capri Sun is back again to debut new flavors this November. The No. 1 kids drink is launching a new 64-oz of Capri Sun jug size that’s equivalent to 10 pouches. To make things more exciting, the two fan-favorite flavors of Strawberry Kiwi and Fruit Punch will go along with it.

As two of the brand’s most loved flavors by both kids and adults, it’s about time that Capri Sun creates a giant version of it. Of course it follows the same ingredients and formula that we love about Capri Sun juices — no artificial ingredients and dyes. They’re just the perfect beverage for the family or any Holiday feast on the calendar. You can find these jugs hitting the shelves of Walmart, Food Lion, Stop & Shop, and HyVee.
But don’t worry, as much as Capri Sun is trying to embrace modern approaches for their products, the pouches are still here to stay. Capri Sun will never disrespect their roots!
The Roots of the Iconic Kids’ Drink in a Pouch
Speaking of the roots of Capri Sun’s pouches, we all know how these drinks used to be inside our lunch bags back in elementary school. It’s also the drink that our parents will bring us when we’re having our family picnics in the park and during long trips. These pouches are part of our childhood, and Capri Sun knows that it will break our hearts when they discontinue it.

It was in 1969 when Rudolf Wild pursued other beverage business ventures apart from his Libella, which is said to be Germany’s first fruit-based branded beverage. One of his ventures was called Capri Sonne (retired name of Capri Sun), and it was during that time when West Germany restricted color additives, leading to less visually appealing drinks.
As a solution, Rudolf Wild & Co. partnered up with a French company called Thimonnier for the rights to use their pouch design and pouch making machines to store the fruit juices. They released their very first flavors which are Lemon and Orange.

From The Club
I’m a huge fan of Capri Sun’s pouch juices, so the 64-oz of Capri Sun jug size is quite new to me. Growing up, we never bought fruit juices in a jug, but now that I’m an adult, I guess I can splurge on some for my favorite kiddie drink. I just know that the kid in me is jumping up and down. I guess adulting is not as bad as it seems. 🤣
