Kit Kat Ghost Toast
Over the years, Kit Kat hasn’t really been making much spooky-themed chocolate for Halloween. Sure, they do release something for the season but it’s not exactly something I would call “spooky.” But this year, that looks to change with the new Kit Kat Ghost Toast! We haven’t had the full details so far but we heard that the Kit Kat Ghost Toast is going to be cinnamon-flavored.

Reese’s Werewolf Tracks
We all love Reese’s unique blend of peanut butter and chocolate. But what if you added Vanilla into the mix? Then you’re onto something really good. This year, Reese’s is coming out with a special Halloween treat called Reese’s Werewolf Tracks. It’s a new twist on the classic peanut butter cup with the whole thing being covered in a top layer of vanilla creme.

Hershey’s Harry Potter House Share Size Bars
Hershey’s is getting in on the fun too in Halloween with a collaboration with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They’re releasing their signature milk chocolate bars that feature four different variants representing the four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff.

M&M’s Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie
Of course, Halloween won’t be complete without a Pumpkin-themed treat. Luckily, this year, M&M is coming out with a Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie flavored of their classic confectionary. They’ve released pumpkin flavored treats before but this year just might be different.

So which ones are you excited to try? These Halloween goodies are definitely creating a buzz way ahead before they hit the market.

Discontinued Halloween Treats

Over the years, we’ve seen tons of great candies come and go. While they aren’t exclusively Halloween-themed per se, they were staples of trick or treat culture back in the day. Most of them are actually pretty good which is still kinda mind boggling as to why they were discontinued in the first place. Here are two that come to mind.

Butterfinger BB's

Butterfinger BB’s
While Butterfinger remains a fan-favorite to this day, some of their variants aren’t around anymore. In the 90s, they had Butterfinger BB’s which were essentially Butterfingers candy bars but shrunk into bite-sized balls. They had the same kind of feel like a Maltesers but with Butterfingers signature flavor. They lasted until 2006 but there’s still hope for a comeback.

PowerHouse Candy Bar

PowerHouse Candy Bar
This was something truly ahead of its time. PowerHouse was a brand of high-protein candy bars released back in the 70s. These candy bars contained peanuts, caramel, and fudge wrapped around a milk chocolate coating. It was marketed as a high-protein snack that would give you enough energy to last through the day. It was very popular with athletes and people with active lifestyles. Nowadays, protein bars are all the rage. With more and more people choosing to live active lives, the stage is perfectly set for PowerHouse to make a return.

Best Halloween Candy of All Time

Halloween is the time for scary stuff, pumpkins, and of course, treats! We might be all a little older to be trick or treating but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy all the Halloween candies and chocolate coming out. But what exactly are the best candy of all time? Which ones are the best things to get when you go out trick or treating? Here’s two of the best Halloween candies of all time.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
There’s no doubt that Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are a classic Halloween candy. Not only are they one of the best snacks, a lot of people seem to agree that they’re also the best candy of all time. It’s the perfect mix of peanut butter and chocolate rolled into one incredible bite-sized snack. When it comes to the best candy of al time, you can’t go wrong with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Twix

Twix
A close second to the Reese’s Peanut Buter Cups are Twix. If you combined a cookie with smooth chocolate and hard caramel then molded it into a bar, what would you get? You’d get Twix. There’s a lot to love about this iconic candy bar. Tts crunchy cookie bits, its gooey caramel, and silky-smooth chocolate all come together in a perfect balance of sugary indulgence.

These brands sure know how to build hype way before their products release. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but it sure does the trick. I for one am really excited about Halloween. Something about the season just feels really cozy to me. I love chilling at the couch watching Halloween specials and horror movies with a bowl full of treats by my side. These are all exciting new products and what I’m most interested in trying is Kit Kat’s Ghost Toast. I’ve never tried a cinnamon-flavored Kit Kat before so I’m really curious to see how this one turns out.
