Cheetos is coming in hot with a brand new flavor! This time, it’s going to be featured on their Flamin’ Hot corn puffs and their Mac ‘N Cheese.
Who doesn’t enjoy Cheetos? They started out as a brand of crunchy corn clubs and since then, they’ve been an iconic part of American snack culture. They’ve even expanded to other products like pretzels, pop corn, and even instant mac ‘n cheese! So with years of experience under their belt, they’ve probably run out of ways to surprise us, right? Wrong! Cheetos just launched a new flavor that are guaranteed to blow us all away.
Cheetos is introducing a brand new flavor for their Flamin’ Hot and their Mac ‘N Cheese line. It’s just as spicy as their traditional flavors but with a slightly cheesier twist. The new flavor is Cajun Cheddar. Best described as a spicy, cheesy flavor, this new variant promises to add some heat to your next snack; without sacrificing the cheesiness.

Sound good? You bet it is! So what are you waiting for? Head on over to your nearest Walmart to try the new flavor from Cheetos.
The Fiery Rise of Cheetos
Cheetos is a brand that needs little introduction today. But something you may not know is that Cheetos has been around for over 70 years! For a brand that exudes youth culture, it sure is pretty old. But how did it become the snack giant it is today? Well it goes all the way back to 1948. Charles Elmer Doolin started out creating snacks based on corn. He first came up with another iconic snack with the Fritos. From there, he eventually expanded his line of products and came up with the original Cheetos corn puffs.
Cheetos became an instant success over the years and quickly became a snack time favorite. Originally debuting only as a cheese-flavored snack, they have since introduced many different flavors and varieties with the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos being their most popular.
Cheetos Stirs the Pot Again
Over the past two years, Cheetos has been a staple in everyone’s newsfeeds thanks to various releases and innovations. In 2021, the brand made headlines by launching a limited-edition Cheetos cookbook, which included recipes for high-flavor feasts, allowing fans to incorporate Cheetos into their holiday meals. This release had a ton of hype with major food blogs reporting about it.

It became trending on most social platforms, reflecting the ongoing evolution of the brand from snack to an ingredient for culinary experiments. Additionally, in response to economic changes in 2022, Frito-Lay announced slight pricing modifications across its product lines, including Cheetos, to combat inflation and ensure shelf stability in outlets like Walmart.
Previous Cheetos Flavors
Cheetos has really been stepping up their game just to keep their flavors fresh and relevant. We’ve seen how they came up with different variants just to keep people coming back for more. They had their original options like Crunchy Cheetos or Cheetos Puffs and even newer ones like Baked Cheetos and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. They definitely stayed fresh and has introduced a whopping 127 different flavors over the course of their existence!

If you take a closer look at this wide selection, you’ll see some pretty unconventional flavors that shouldn’t have worked but somehow did. Like the Cheetos Corn on the Cob Fresh Tomato, Cheetos Bag of Bones Cinnamon Sugar, and the Cheetos Korean BBQ. This goes to show that they’re always trying out new and bold flavors. If those flavors found success, how much more the new Cajun Cheddar? With a proven track record, the new Cheetos flavor is ready to make its mark.
From The Club
Cheetos is one of the best snacks. Period. I’m such a huge fan that they can come out with any flavor and I’ll still go ahead and try it (even if it’s a little gross). That said, the new Cajun Cheddar is looking like a big hit. We don’t know for sure how long this flavor will last so, we have to try it while we can.
