Reese’s fans, here’s a quick question: Do you ever wish that your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups had more peanut butter filling?
While some of you might be contented with the peanut butter filling, some might not, especially with the 40% thinner Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups that was released last 2018. To make matters worse, one Reddit user complained about their entire five-pack Reese’s having no peanut butter filling inside — a nightmare for peanut butter fans out there since it’s the best part of the Peanut Butter Cup experience.
Worry no more, as Hershey’s has heard your complaints, and they went straight to the chocolate kitchen to innovate the perfect Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup experience for fans. Say hello to the new Deconstructed Peanut Butter Cup Kit that was launched last November 2, 2024. It allows fans to fill as much (or less) peanut butter as they want in a giant Reese’s chocolate cup.

The limited edition kit contains a 9-ounce milk chocolate shell and a 10-ounce jar of Reese’s peanut butter filling. With this, fans can create a giant Reese’s cup that is nearly 10 times the size of the classic 1.5-pounce cups.
Reese’s found success with this innovation because as soon as it dropped on Hershey’s website, it immediately sold out “in record time.” If you weren’t one of the lucky ones who got to get their hands on this chocolate treat, don’t worry, as The Hershey Store announced that the fans’ “overwhelming interest” might result in the kit coming back. Let’s cross our fingers that the treat makes a quick comeback and drop by our nearest grocery stores soon.

Want Some Hershey’s Kisses?
Hershey’s has got a pretty good lineup in store for us this holiday season. While we’re waiting for a new Reese’s release, you can indulge in the classic cult favorite: Hershey’s Kisses! While the milk chocolate triangles are a favorite of many, especially during the holiday season, they’ve unveiled more flavors for us to try.
If you’re up for some sweet treats, you can choose among these packs:

- Grinch Milk Chocolate – Starting it all off with the classics, we have the Milk Chocolate Kisses wrapped in Grinch-themed foil wrappers. This makes the perfect family snack while watching a Christmas movie or, of course, The Grinch who hates Christmas.
- Cherry Cordial – If you’re looking for a different take on the classic Kisses chocolate, then you have to try some Cherry Cordial pieces. It features a strong cherry taste and smell as it’s filled with cherry inside.
- Sugar Cookie – If you love cookies and cream flavor, then you will surely love the sugar cookie flavor, too. These Kisses are made with white chocolate crunchy cookie bits that resemble the holiday treat of Sugar Cookies.
- Candy Cane – We’re getting a lot of Candy Cane flavors, and thankfully, one of them is Kisses. These chocolate pieces feature a white chocolate treat with a candy cane flavor and bits of candy cane.
- Mint Truffle – Here’s a dessert idea for your Thanksgiving feast; why not serve some cookies filled with Kisses Mint Truffles? This flavor features a dark chocolate shell filled with cool mint inside. Although many fans wished they were here all year round, Hershey’s specifically made them as a holiday flavor special.
- Hot Cocoa – Winter calls for hot cocoa in a cup, but if you’re on the go, you can store some Kisses in your car which are hot cocoa flavored. These chocolate treats feature a marshmallow creme filling with a milk chocolate shell.

From The Club
Reese’s is on my favorite chocolate list, so learning about the Deconstructed Peanut Butter Cup Kit for the first time excites me. Imagine a giant milk chocolate shell that I could fill with as much peanut butter as I wanted. Whoever thought of this deserves a raise! Sadly, I wasn’t lucky enough to grab one of these giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, so hopefully, Hershey’s will restock them and distribute them at local stores so I can grab one easily.
