Who’s ready to level up your weekend Netflix binge-watch? The streaming platform recently announced two ‘Now Popping’ popcorn flavors in collaboration with Popcorn Indiana.
The two exclusive flavors are Cult Classic Cheddar Kettle and Swoonworthy Cinnamon Kettle; trust me, the names are the only thing you’d get tired of saying, but the popcorn flavors themselves would definitely be worth trying! Netflix-branded popcorn will be available at Walmart stores nationwide and in other retailers.

An 8-ounce bag of the new popcorn will be sold for $4.49, which was mentioned in Netflix’s published post on their official website.
What’s Poppin at Popcorn Indiana Recently?
Popcorn Indiana has been gaining popularity with recent food releases and strategic marketing campaigns. In 2021, the popcorn brand celebrated National Popcorn Month with the limited-time release of Pumpkin Spice Kettle Corn, which perfectly captured autumn flavors.
Another notable development was in the last quarter of 2022 when Popcorn Indiana introduced a virtual taste-tasting event to replace their in-store sampling due to the recent pandemic.
Netflix’s recent Now Popping isn’t the streaming company’s first collaboration with a popular snack brand; in 2022, the company made a partnership with Ben & Jerry’s, which introduced Netflix & Chill’s flavor (peanut butter ice cream with sweet-and-salty pretzel swirls and fudge brownies). Up to now, the treat has been sold at select stores.
Of all the popular news, this Netflix and Popcorn Indiana could be the most notable one; with Netflix’s wide coverage and popularity throughout the world, the snack brand would increase its consumer coverage, too. Even for a limited time, the two flavors, Cult Classic Cheddar Kettle and Swionworthy Cinnamon Kettle, have quickly been the talk of the snack industry.

Let’s Talk More About The Netflix Popcorn Snack
The partnership between Popcorn Indiana and Netflix exemplifies a modern, cross-industry collaboration to enhance the snacking experience. The Cult Classic Cheddar Kettle and Swionworthy Cinnamon Kettle flavors are designed with an understanding of the wide range of movies or TV shows that interest people in terms of palate.
Cult Classic Cheddar Kettle is a perfect combination of sharp cheddar and some sugar. It has a sweet taste. People who love cheese and caramel can enjoy the flavor of this taste explosion that also turns out to be a contrast in textures. Swoonworthy Cinnamon Kettle takes a different tack, blending the warmth of cinnamon with the satisfying crunch of kettle corn. It still gives a unique experience, which makes it an ideal flavor for binge-watching seasons/binge-watching times.

This accessibility ensures that a wide audience can enjoy the innovative flavors born from this unique collaboration with Netflix. Thanks to the extensive network of Popcorn Indiana, retailers across the country now carry these flavors on their shelves. These flavors can be found in grocery stores, convenience stores, and major retail chains that sell their snacks.
The new flavors demonstrate how brands can connect with customers in modern ways. Popcorn Indiana aims to show that changes in the snack industry are about not just what people eat, but also how and where they enjoy snacks, like enjoying popcorn while streaming movies or shows.

From The Club
Netflix partnered with Popcorn Indiana and announced two popcorn flavors, but it’s not the profit from snacks that made this partnership; it’s the creative strategy to market the streaming platform. Interesting, right? I personally liked this move from both brands, but let’s get into the snack flavors. If I were to choose one, I’d prefer the Cult Classic Cheddar Kettle, but of course, the Swoonworthy Cinnamon Kettle would be great, too. If you haven’t tried these yet, I suggest you get one; watching Netflix on a Friday night would definitely be better!
