If you’re thirsty for change, you need to check out these new sodas coming soon!
There are new surprises that would be fun to uncover in the soda department. If you’re a soda fan, then you’d be thrilled to know that iconic brands like Coca-Cola and Dr Pepper are launching something new and exciting. The good thing about these releases is that most of them have a zero sugar variation. I can’t emphasize this enough: better-for-you products are on the rise, including healthy snacks and drinks. So it’s a wise move for soda brands to get on the trend by launching more zero sugar drinks! Going back, we’ve got some refreshing surprises for you, and hopefully, they hit the stores soon.

A&W Ice Cream Sundae
Finally, you don’t have to make your own ice cream sundae anymore! With the arrival of A&W Ice Cream Sundae, you can enjoy the classic dessert in soda format. A&W is wildly popular for its root beer soda, so it would kind of make sense to have this as a base. What this would give us is probably a drink that tastes like a root beer float. As per the packaging, the new soda will feature flavors of vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and sprinkles. The A&W Ice Cream Sundae will also be available in a zero sugar option.
Coca-Cola Orange Cream
Coca-Cola’s next innovation is expected to taste like an orange creamsicle. After the Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla was pulled off shelves back in 2022, the Orange Cream variation has been labeled as its successor. A lot of soda fans already swore that they’re going to get this new soda, hoping that the flavor will give a confident “orange.” The Coca-Cola Orange Cream can also be enjoyed in zero sugar.
Dr Pepper Blackberry
Love pairing your favorite snacks with Dr Pepper? Well, there’s a new soda flavor that you can’t miss from this brand…say hello to Dr Pepper Blackberry! Rumor has it that it’s going to be a permanent addition to Dr Pepper’s beverage lineup, starting February 2025. The new soda is expected to combine Dr Pepper’s slightly spicy flavor with the subtle sweetness of blackberry. Also available in zero sugar variation.
Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream

Since last year, Pepsi fans have been going crazy for this new upcoming soda. The Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream is anticipated to hit the stores this January, and it should rival the cream sodas from A&W and Coca-Cola. Think cream soda combined with fruit flavors, that’s Pepsi Wild Cherry & Cream for you. Plus, the can art is just too stunning to ignore! Per the label, this soda will also be available in zero sugar variation.
Sprite + Tea
Remember those people who took a video of themselves putting tea bags in Sprite? Well, that probably inspired the creation of Sprite + Tea! If the combination is that good, then we have to see the version of the iconic soda brand itself! Sadly, this beverage won’t have a zero sugar version, but according to the label, it will be caffeine-free, despite having a tea component. Expect the classic lemon-lime flavor, balanced by the subtle bitterness of tea.
Sunkist Raspberry Blood Orange

In an interesting twist of events, Sunkist’s new soda will not just feature one, but two fruit flavors! Get ready for the dual fruit combo of raspberry and blood orange. For those who are not familiar, blood orange has a unique flavor profile due to it being sweeter and less acidic than a regular orange. There’s no word yet if the Sunkist Raspberry Blood Orange will have a zero sugar variation, but fans are still hoping for such an option.
All these new drinks are part of January to September soda releases this year. However, date of launch for each drink is still tentative.

From The Club
These are some refreshing surprises for the new year! I have to admit…I’ve been cutting back on soda since the end of last year, but it looks like I’ll be using my cheat day to try the A&W Ice Cream Sundae Soda. That and the Sunkist Raspberry Blood Orange sound amazing with some savory snacks! Also, what I noticed in this roundup is the prominence of cream soda component. It adds a dessert-like quality to the drink and a great choice for those who want something lighter than a regular pop.
