Gone are the days when you need to create a homemade cherry cream soda. Pepsi’s latest Wild Cherry & Cream Soda is coming soon, and it has amazingly designed cans!

The cherry soda category welcomes a new Pepsi flavor that could rival Cherry Coke. What we’re excited about is the cream component. Because when you pair cherry and cream, you’re most likely to get the flavor profile of an ice cream float! Pepsi’s new flavor is not available yet, but it’s already getting admiring looks from soda fans.

After Dr. Pepper surpassed Pepsi as the second-most popular soda in America, could the latter’s new soda flavor change the situation? We have already covered the news about Pepsi’s latest Wild Cherry & Cream Soda, but we can’t help but gush over the brand’s can art for this flavor. It’s festive and looks like it could pass as a holiday soda flavor. You know how popular cherries are this time of the year, right? The cans show swirls of blue, red, and white colors, with the cherries looking quite prominent in the design. Hopefully, this signals that we’re about to get that clear sweet cherry taste. Overall, Pepsi’s Wild Cherry & Cream Soda could be a refreshing find in an aisle full of sodas. Reach for this new flavor when it hit the stores in January 2025.

Just by looking at the can designs, soda fans already expressed excitement and willingness in trying the new flavor. Even non-Pepsi fans shared that they would love to try the Wild Cherry & Cream Soda. This new offering from Pepsi will be available in both regular and zero sugar versions.

Unique Pepsi Soda Flavors

Pepsi is known for experimenting with unique flavors to produce a wide variety of beverages that cater to different soda preferences. You might still find some of these in major retail stores, so why not grab one or two while you wait for Pepsi’s new flavor drop next year?

Pepsi Nitro

  • Pepsi Vanilla Nitro: According to Pepsi, this isn’t just a soda; it’s an experience. Nitro Pepsi is the brand’s first-ever nitrogen-infused beverage, and the Vanilla-flavored one has been described to taste like a Pepsi float with vanilla ice cream. For the best soda experience, you better not shake it before drinking. Just chill the Nitro Pepsi, open the tab, enjoy the sound of nitrogen coming out, and quickly invert the can to pour the soda into the glass. Next thing you know, you’re enjoying the silky foam and creamy mouthfeel!
  • Pepsi S’mores Collection: Yup, we’re not talking about just one flavor here, but three! This collection was released in 2022 as a holiday offering, with three flavors that included Chocolate, Toasty Marshmallow, and Graham Cracker. The mind-blowing part? These flavors are intended to be mixed together (in different proportions) to create your own liquid s’mores. Can we go back in 2022 please?

Latest Soda Releases You Shouldn’t Miss

Back to the present times, there are other new soda flavors that you can try this holiday season. Be merry with these fizzy drinks before welcoming the new year with a cherry on top. Here are the holiday sodas you should be looking for in your local retail stores:

Starry Cranberry Blitz

  • Starry’s Cranberry Blizz: Only available for the holidays, this cranberry-flavored fizzy drink from Starry (formerly Sierra Mist) got soda fans talking. They’re comparing it to the iconic Sprite Cranberry, but still, the eagerness to try Starry’s new drink is there. One thing to note: it’s only available in zero sugar version.
  • Sprite’s Vanilla Frost: This one has been rumored to come out mid or late November this year, starting at Kroger stores. It will be combining Sprite’s original citrus taste with the classic vanilla, which got a lot of fans excited. Sprite’s Vanilla Frost is expected to be available in regular and zero sugar options.

From The Club

After years of staying away from soda, I think I’m gonna take a small break this year because of Pepsi‘s Wild Cherry & Cream flavor. 👀 I love having a good ice cream float occasionally and I think Pepsi will be able to capture its comforting flavors. I’m wondering if Pepsi will also release a holiday soda, though. If not, I think Sprite’s Vanilla Frost would suffice for those looking for a festive fizzy drink.
