It’s been a week since summer started, and many snack brands participated by releasing new treats, whether new flavors or comeback treats specifically for the summer season. But the question is, would you try them all? I’m sure most of you will not be able to; I mean, there are so many to choose from that you don’t know what to buy first.
With all the new snack releases, there’s one particular snack brand that I’m sure most of you have been waiting to release their summer treats – OREO. This summer, OREO is set to release not one, not two, but a total of three new treats (as of now). Let’s have a quick roundup of these exciting snacks this summer season!
OREO Mint Chip Cookie
The first snack is a limited-edition OREO Mint Chip flavor that is set to hit shelves on July 8, 2024, and it’s already getting attention in the snack industry. This new cookie flavor appeals to ice cream and OREO lovers by combining the classic mint chip ice cream flavor with the iconic chocolate sandwich cookie. It features OREO’s signature chocolate cookies with a unique waffle cone embossment, filled with mint chip flavored creme that’s dotted with chocolate chips.
OREO has been expanding its cookie lineup in different retail stores. The Mint Chip Cookie flavor is a perfect snack this summer. I mean, having to taste the popular cookie with a soothing and refreshing ice cream—what more would you want? The waffle cone design is a new feature that recreates the experience of eating a mint chip ice cream cone. Not satisfied yet? Let’s move on to the next snack.
Junior’s Mini OREO Cheesecake
This second snack is a collaboration with Junior’s. They created the Mini OREO Cheesecake, a snack for those who want more, like me. You can buy a six-pack of Junior’s OREO Cheesecake, which is basically a combination of the iconic OREO cookie and the traditional Junior’s cheesecake. As of now, this could be my favorite snack collaboration.
If you want to try this, you can grab one at any of the nearest Costco stores in your area. These OREO cheesecake packs are also getting attention already in different social media platforms. Setting OREO aside, Junior’s made a great decision to collaborate with the famous snack brand to help increase their customers and, in return, increase their sales. As of now, there is no further info on the new snack collab that will be available in more retail stores other than Costco. But one thing is for sure: this is gaining more and more positive feedback.
OREO Mint Chip Cereal (Yes, A cereal!)
If you double-checked if it’s really a cereal, you’re not mistaken. OREO didn’t stop at making an OREO Mint Chip cookie because this third snack to look out for is an OREO Mint Chip Cereal! Who says it’s not okay to eat cookies in cereal form? Certainly, it is not true. Since the introduction of Cookie Crisp and Oreo O’s to the cereal aisle, breakfast has never been more exciting. People were thrilled after Mega Stuf OREO O’s cereal returned after almost four years of hiatus. Now, the Post brand has collaborated with OREO and pushed the bounds of more cereal flavors.
It’s only a matter of time before OREO decides to spread its snack lineup and target the breakfast cereals. After all, it is milk’s favorite cookie. But now, the cookie company is taking OREO O’s to the minty side in a twist nobody expected, but everybody’s loving. New, limited-edition OREO O’s Mint Chip cereal is bringing the special combo of Oreo and mint to your morning cereal bowl. The cool new flavor will give you the same crisp, chocolatey, cooling sensation of biting into a Mint Oreo cookie—but for breakfast.
Why Oreo Is One Of The Best Snack Brands
When was the last time you heard OREO released a snack that did not have positive reviews or perhaps was not popular? The chances are, you haven’t. But Why? Is it on how they do their marketing? Or maybe the collaboration with either a famous brand or an actor?
Maybe these helped in the growth of the cookie brand, but one thing is for sure: OREO has consistently provided us with ‘just a snack,’ but something unique, flavorful, exciting, and top-quality. Whatever season comes, they have a new treat for you to enjoy. There goes the saying, “Twist, Lick, Dunk.”

Are you satisfied now? I’m sure you are! With all these new treats to enjoy this summer, it will be an exciting season. Kudos to OREO for always providing us with such treats. Personally, I enjoy tasting the cereal flavor the most; among the three snacks, it’s particularly interesting to me. But don’t get me wrong, all three look flavorful. I’m just saying, based on my experience, that OREO has made our childhood more exciting, right? So be sure to try at least one because I’ve already decided to grab a lot and stock up on them.
