I swear this year is getting sweeter by the day. How can it not be true when Pepperidge Farm and Chips Ahoy! announced their new sweet treats? For many years, Pepperidge Farm has been known for its Goldfish crackers, but now the brand is making waves for introducing new cookie-inspired snacks. Also, Chips Ahoy!, another iconic name in cooking making, is bound to offer a fan-favorite in new form. Here’s everything you need to know about these latest snacks, including when and where you can get them!
Chips Ahoy!
Chips Ahoy!’s 62-year old product is getting a makeover. Say hello to Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites. Unlike the round cookie snacks we all know, these bites are going to be in little square shapes and more chewy than the original. Per the brand, the new snack will be available in a Blondie variety, with more flavors expected to come out.
Chips Ahoy! also shared that the move to produce snacks in a different format is fueled by their objective of having a broader audience. Moving beyond the traditional round cookies also allows Chips Ahoy! to experiment with new snacks that can be enjoyed on-the-go or at home anytime, any day. Each bite is made with soft and chewy dough, with real chocolate chips baked in and no high fructose corn syrup.
Some foodies have already spotted the Baked Bites in their local retail stores. Each box of Baked Bites contain five snack packs, with a suggested price of $3.98.
Pepperidge Farm
Pepperidge Farm is also dropping something new that’s vastly different from its current offerings. The cool thing is it’s not just one, but a trio of Milano cookies! Pepperidge Farm is introducing its first-ever white chocolate Milano cookies, with three delectable to choose from: Lemon, Strawberry, and Coconut.
While the brand is known for producing Milano Cookies, this time, they’re reimagining the snacks using white chocolate, offering a new indulgence to fans. This new Milano experience will come with a more vibrant taste, seeing that fruit flavors will be thrown into the mix. The fruit-forward flavor options for white chocolate Milano cookies will be available in retailers nationwide this January, with a suggested price of $5.09 per 7oz bag.
