Mountain Dew has always been one of the “it sodas” of the crowd! They’re the perfect thirst quencher or partner with fried and dried foods. Because of its popularity, they have more than just the OG green lime soda. They boast a wide range of soda offerings, from varieties of fruity flavors to exclusive fast food sodas, one of which is the popular Baja Blast, which is only offered at Taco Bell.
Because of the immense popularity of Baja Blast, Mountain Dew decided to bring it to other stores over the years. In case you didn’t know, Baja Blast celebrates their 20th anniversary this year, so they’ve been dropping exclusive items all year long. We have their Stanley collaboration and also the Baja Blast desserts at Taco Bell, such as gelato, pie, and twists.

You may have seen other Baja Blast variants at stores this year, such as the classic and the Zero Sugar in bottles and cans. But this December, we’re seeing another special Baja Blast release at Walmart!
Walmart and Baja Blast Collaboration
If you were shopping at Walmart last Cyber Monday (December 2), you may have recalled seeing some Baja Blast bundles on shelves. Well, you’re not imagining things as Mountain Dew, together with Kanga Coolers, released a Walmart-exclusive bundle. They’re these cooler bags filled with six pieces of 16.9-ounce Mountain Dew Baja Blast bottles.

Kanga’s leakproof pouch will keep your Baja Blast drinks cold for up to 24 hours with ice and seven hours without it. It features a magnetic flap that allows for a convenient drink experience without dealing with the opening and closing of zippers. It also has four storage compartments where you can place your Baja Blast drinks and other things.
Walmart’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast x Kanga Cooler Bundle was priced at $59.98 last Cyber Monday, $20 less than its regular value. If you’re one of those lucky shoppers who brought home the bundle, congratulations! However, if it’s the first time you know of them, then act fast and head over to your nearest Walmart store to see if they’re available, although you may want to expect a higher price by now.

Recent Soda News
Admit it; sodas are your guilty pleasure, too. We may not understand the science behind it, but the kick of it when eating food, especially dry food, is on a whole different level. We’re faced with what soda brand to choose and the flavor to select off the grocery shelves.
Since we’re on it, let’s see some new soda releases to refill our fridge.
Crush’s Back to the 80s
Crush is bringing us back to the 80s with their new soda that will hit shelves in July 2025. Say hello to the Electric Blue Razz, which notes the flavor of blue raspberry that was huge during the 80s! There is no other news about the other flavors involved in making the Electric Blue Razz, as they’re still set to be released next year.

Mountain Dew’s Game Fuel
Mountain Dew is once again stepping into the world of gaming, and they are no strangers to that. In collaboration with the World of Warcraft and Halo Infinite, they’re dropping two new flavors:
- Mtn Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry – It features the classic Mountain Dew lime soda with a blast of citrus cherry.
- Mtn Dew Game Fuel Citrus Blackberry – Mixed with natural and artificial blackberry flavors to give you that summer feeling in the middle of the winter season.

From The Club
I’ve long stayed away from sodas as I’m trying to watch out for what I consume. But from time to time, I still enjoy a few sips of sodas, especially when I eat for a feast. To be honest, I have never tasted Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast, even at Taco Bell, so it’s nice that Walmart even made it accessible for us with a little bonus gift to chill our Baja Blast drink. There are many things to look out for this December, and one of those is the Kanga Coolers so I can also store my other sodas.
