Más+ by Messi delivers positive hydration to retail stores in even more states across the country.

When iconic soccer player Lionel Messi launched Más+ by Messi last June in Miami, he shared plans to expand and bring the hydration drink to other markets. Now, it’s finally happening! It seems like the next-generation drink has already gained fans across the country after selling out online in less than an hour after its debut. For those of you who live in New York and having trouble finding a sports drink with none of those artificial colors and sweeteners, you’re in luck! The strong range of Más+ by Messi is coming to NYC to meet (or even exceed) your hydration requirements.

The new hydration drink founded with soccer star Lionel Messi is now available in New York, specifically in Target and independent retailers across the five boroughs. Más+ by Messi will also be available for sale in Hudson Valley and Long Island retail stores, offering more people access to a sports drink with healthy ingredients and great taste.

According to the Executive Vice President of Más+ Next Generation Beverage Co., Rishi Daing, the positive reception to Más+ by Messi indicates the consumer need for a “better-for-you” hydration drink. So far, fans are loving its quality ingredients and sensational flavors. Messi himself enjoys all flavors, which are named after the milestones in his life: Berry Copa Crush, Limón Lime League, Miami Punch, and Orange d’Or.

New Yorkers can find the exact locations of stores carrying Más+ by Messi at masbymessi.com/pages/where-to-find. The hydration drink can also be purchased online through the brand’s website. Expect more rollouts to other US markets in 2024 and 2025.

Más+ by Messi Flavor Lineup

Fans of Más+ by Messi are buzzing with excitement as distribution of the sports drink expands. And that’s largely because of its unrivaled taste. As mentioned, there are four delicious flavors to choose from, with no unnecessary artificial sweeteners. Let’s take a closer look at these flavors:

Más+ by Messi Flavor Lineup

  • Miami Punch: This flavor offers a refreshing fruit punch taste, thanks to the balanced blend of berry and pineapple.
  • Berry Copa Crush: Sweet and luscious, this blend combines flavor notes from cherry and berry.
  • Limón Lime League: Fruity, sweet, and zesty, this flavor has the citrus taste that will give you that energy boost.
  • Orange d’Or: Another citrusy flavor but this time, it features a refreshing orange flavor with hints of tangerine.

Each bottle of Más+ by Messi also comes with electrolytes, antioxidants, vitamins, and natural flavors. A 16.9oz bottle packs 10 calories and 1 gram of cane sugar. Meanwhile, a 120z can has 7 calories and less than 1 gram of cane sugar. Want to try all flavors? You can get a four-flavor variety pack with a total of 12 cans.

Other Energy Boosters Launched Recently

If you feel like you need an extra kick from caffeine for an energy boost, we have just the right items for you. Latest releases from 5-hour ENERGY and Starbucks will give you that additional dose of energy to stay alert and focused on your goals.

5-hour ENERGY recently released its Stan the Fan 5-hour ENERGY, a limited-edition energy shot that comes with a Fan Fuel flavor. What’s a Fan Fuel flavor, you ask? Think of it as a blend of nutrients, vitamins, and caffeine that packs the same punch as a 12oz premium coffee.

And speaking of coffee, Starbucks will reportedly release Frappuccino Lite, a ready-to-drink coffee made with 100% Arabica beans, but with 60% fewer calories and an indulgent flavor of Sea Salt Caramel Gelato. A Topical Peach-flavored Iced Energy Drink should also be unveiled soon. This makes a great option if you decide to skip coffee for your energy-boosting needs.

From The Club

Looks like Más+ by Messi is shaping up to be a rival of Gatorade and Powerade, and I can see why it has a strong appeal just by looking at its ingredients. We’re currently in an era where better-for-you products are gaining traction and people are becoming more conscious of their health. Because of these, Más+ by Messi holds a great promise. It definitely sounds like a drink that would make you feel like a new person and I hope it does so!
