Harry Potter fans (including me) are going wild for the latest magical treat from Hershey’s KISSES. If you’re familiar with the beverage served in the pubs and cafes of Harry Potter universe, then you’ll know how big of a deal this new KISSES flavor is. Butterbeer is a popular drink in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, served cold in bottles or warm and frothy in tankards. Hershey’s, in partnership with the Harry Potter franchise, is releasing a new KISSES flavor that fans can’t wait to try: Hershey’s Butterbeer KISSES. Snack blogger, @markie_devo, broke the news on social media, causing buzz among Potterheads. Currently, to try the butterbeer, you’d have to go to the Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida. There, the magical drink is recreated using cream soda, butter and caramel extracts, powdered sugar, and butterscotch topping. For a boozy version of it, the drink is made with vanilla v*dka and butterscotch schnapps.
Now, you don’t have to go all the way to Florida just to get a taste of butterbeer, and that’s thanks to the new Butterbeer KISSES from Hershey’s. Based on the packaging circulating online, the new KISSES product will feature gold-colored KISSES with butterbeer-flavored creme filling. Upon seeing this description, fans already made a promise to get them in stores as soon as they drop.

Just before the announcement of Hershey’s Butterbeer KISSES, the brand has already been making waves online. And that’s because Hershey’s dropped other exciting treats in the last couple of months. In case you missed it or need a refresh, here are the latest product releases from Hershey’s:
- Hershey’s KISSES Cherry Cordial Candy – Cherry Cordial is among the holiday flavors from Hershey’s KISSES this year. This flavor has a similarity with the Butterbeer flavor. Both of them have a creme filling, and Cherry Cordial has, you guessed it, cherry-flavored creme inside. Each chocolate morsel is also wrapped in red foil, making them a great addition to your holiday spread.
- Hershey’s and Reese’s Chocolate Barks – Also coming to the snack aisle near you are the new chocolate barks from Hershey’s and Reese’s. Expected to arrive in February 2025, Hershey’s chocolate barks are made with milk chocolate, pretzels, and almonds. Meanwhile, Reese’s chocolate barks are made with milk chocolate, Reese’s pieces, and peanuts, and these too will be available in February.

Hershey’s is on a roll! Just a couple of days ago I learned about their new chocolate barks, and now they’re dropping a new KISSESS flavor that I won’t be able to resist. The Ravenclaw in me can’t wait to try those butterbeer-flavored chocolates. I just hope that they come soon…sooner than those Hershey’s chocolate barks. 👀
