Hershey’s and Reese’s announced their first-ever protein treats and health-conscious consumers are excited! ONE Brands, which is owned by The Hershey Company and popular for its Cookies and Maple Glazed Doughnut protein bars, is releasing the all-new protein-packed Reese’s Cup and Hershey’s Bar.
The new Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers has the popular peanut butter flavor with exactly 18 grams of protein and only three grams of sugar. The smooth peanut butter taste perfectly aligns inside and out. On the other hand, Hershey’s is bringing back a classic chocolate bar into a protein bar – Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme. The protein bar comes with the same 18 grams of protein and three grams of sugar. Even though The Hershey Company has been consistently selling protein bars since it acquired ONE Brands 5 years ago, this is the first time it’s returned its classic and popular candy treat in the protein world. This is a great announcement in line with the recent Mars release of the Snickers Hi Protein. Indeed, it is a healthy snack competition.
Both Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme protein bars are now available on the shelves of all active retail stores. You can buy them at retailers all over the country and on Amazon. If the positive feedback continues, we’ll definitely be going to see more of Hershey’s and Reese’s classic protein bars. We’re still in the second quarter of the year, but Hershey’s has already announced a Halloween-themed snack in collaboration with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They’re releasing their signature milk chocolate bars featuring four variants representing the four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff.
