Are you familiar with the brand Talenti? It’s actually a gelato and sorbetto brand that serves the five gelato layer treat. You’re right; it’s not every day that you get to taste this treat, as it’s somewhat on the pricey side. But what if I tell you that Walmart offers the same dessert at a much more affordable price? Read along!

Get your dessert spoons ready, as Walmart is about to roll out a new line of layered gelatos under their own branding of Bettergoods. It features seven flavors of the following:

  • Bettergoods Tiramisu Gelato

Starting the week of September 14, you can indulge in these gelato layer treats for an unbeatable price of only $4.37. Make sure to mark your calendars and leave a space in your freezer because I’m sure that you’ll have a hard time choosing among these seven flavors.

What is Bettergoods?

The brand Bettergoods may be new to you, but if you’re a Walmart shopper, you may have seen this brand hit Walmart shelves. Bettergoods is Walmart’s private brand that is made exclusively for food. It joins the chain’s brand roster, promoting affordability and high-quality food items.

What’s great about this is that Walmart’s product development team collaborated with different suppliers across the globe to source quality ingredients and flavors. You don’t only get to save, but you also get quality and affordable products at the lowest price. Prices for Bettergoods items range from $2 to $15, with most of its products priced at less than $5.

Key features of the Bettergoods brand include:

  • Culinary Experiences – Bettergoods’ culinary experiences stem from its offering of specialty salts and seasonings, such as hot honey seasoning and jar soups of Creamy Corn Jalapeño Chowder and Bronze Cut Pasta.
  • Plant-based – As part of their high-quality branding, Bettergoods also has a line exclusively for plant-based products, which consists of Oatmilk Non-Dairy. There are also plant-based cheese alternatives.
  • “Made Without” – Bettergood’s Made Without selection is an option made for different dietary lifestyle options like gluten-free and artificial flavoring-free. They say eating healthy is a sacrifice, but don’t fret, as the Made Without is mixed with Sweet Cream Daily Creamer. Bettergood also offers all-white chicken nuggets that run along the Made Without label.

Let’s Talk About Bettergood’s Layered Gelato

The Bettergoods’ Layered Gelato is the first-of-its-kind collection featuring seven different flavors of gelato. Imagine, you can now have a taste of this expensive dessert for just $4.37. That’s like the best less than $5 treat you have spent!

Now, let’s dive into those seven flavors:

  • Tiramisu Gelato – Turn your favorite tiramisu cake into gelato. This pint contains coffee sauce, mascarpone cheese, and m*rsala w*ne for a unique gelato twist.
  • Lemon Raspberry Parfait Gelato – If you like fruit flavors then this pint is perfect for you. It is made with lemon-flavored gelato, raspberry sorbet, and white cookie crumbs for a balance of flavors.
  • Pistachio and Almond Gelato – You don’t need to choose between pistachio and almonds, as you get the best of both worlds with this flavor. It features layers of pistachio grains and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
  • Salted Caramel Peanut Crunch Gelato – Peanut butter lovers, this one’s for you! This pint has layers of caramel sauce and peanut pieces for a peanut butter-like experience.
  • Chocolate Vanilla Cookie Gelato – Combine chocolate and vanilla with this gelato flavor. It features chocolate sauce and white cookie crumbs for a crunch in every bite.
  • Chocolate Gelato – If you’re craving for chocolate over chocolate, this flavor is for you. It blends dark chocolate chips, sauce, and cocoa to create this chocolate heaven pint.
  • Cheesecake Fudge Crumble Gelato – Of course, there’s a cheesecake flavor, too, that is made for those who are fans of this dessert. This flavor is made out of chocolate swirls in the form of cheesecake and white cookie crumbs.

From The Club

Honestly, I prefer my gelato simple without any toppings, but since Walmart is rolling out Bettergoods’ Layered Gelato, I might as well try it. I’m eyeing the Lemon Raspberry Parfait Gelato since I like fruity and tangy gelato flavors. I’m also intrigued by the Salted Caramel Peanut Crunch Gelato. Okay, I know I said that I prefer my gelato simple 😂 but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to scoop my spoon once or twice.
