Fun meets flavor in the newest drops of Popsicle, while over at stores with Reese’s, fans could be celebrating spring early.
We’re taking a break from holiday snacks and looking into what the year 2025 holds. Based on trusted sources, we’ll be seeing more seasonal treats, specifically from Popsicle and Reese’s. You know what this means? Exciting times ahead for the young at heart and dessert lovers alike! If you plan to start the year on a sweet note, then you’re among those who wouldn’t want to miss these seasonal treats.
Popsicle
Popsicle, which already has over 30 variations of its original Popsicle product, will be dropping new icy treats early next year. Talk about being inventive! According to snack blogger @snackolator, Popsicle will be releasing new character-shaped ice cream bars, and these include the following:
- Baby Grogu from Mandalorian Ice Cream Bar
- Olaf from Frozen Ice Cream Bar
- Spiderman Ice Cream Bar
In addition to these sweet treats, a new ice pop is also hitting the stores next year, inspired by Buzz Lightyear from the film Toy Story. Per the packaging, the ice pop is colored in white, green, and purple. All these new products from Popsicle are expected to arrive in major retail stores in early 2025.
Reese’s
Remember the Reese’s Red Velvet and the speculation that it’s the brand’s Valentine’s Day offering? Well, this section isn’t about that. Because Reese’s is rumored to drop another new treat, and this time, for a different occasion that’s beyond Valentine’s Day. We won’t keep you guessing; say hello to Reese’s Spring Sprinkles! I know…it’s a little bit early, but who’s complaining? In fact, fans already expressed that they’re “so ready for spring.”
The news was shared by food blogger @markie_devo in a Facebook post. He mentioned that the Reese’s Spring Sprinkles has been spotted in some stores, including Sheetz and Walmart.com. However, it’s not for sale yet in the latter’s online store. The new seasonal treat is also expected to be released nationwide soon. The Reese’s Spring Sprinkles has been described as milk chocolate and peanut butter cups filled with “spring-shaped” sprinkles.

- Hershey’s and Reese’s Chocolate Barks – Yup, you read that right. Reese’s will be releasing its first-ever chocolate barks, and so is Hershey’s. The former will feature peanuts and Reese’s pieces, while the latter will have some almonds and pretzels. Both of these chocolate barks are expected to arrive in February 2025.
- OREO Frozen Treats Bites – Looks like OREO is also making a name in the frozen treat category. In January 2025, the brand is set to release these OREO Bites made with frozen dairy, creme-flavored base, and crushed OREO coating. It could be the ultimate choice for a poppable and delicious sweet snack.
- Dippin’ Dots Sundaes – In the dessert arena, Dippin’ Dots was among the first to announce new products for 2025. This coming January, two flavors of Dippin’ Dots Sundae will arrive at Kroger stores: Cookies ‘n Cream and Cotton Candy. Both feature layers of cookie pieces, ice cream, and flavored toppings.

I didn’t know I needed a character-shaped ice cream bar until I saw one from Popsicle! All those new ice cream bars look great, and I can say the same for the Buzz Lightyear ice pop. I’m a Star Wars fan, though, so I can’t wait to try the Baby Grogu ice cream bar! Also, let’s talk about Reese’s latest release. I’m starting to get curious about the taste and texture of those sprinkles. Hopefully, the Red Velvet isn’t cancelled because of the early arrival of this spring-themed treat.
