Pepsi is unleashing a set of exciting drinks that take classic flavors and turns them into something new.
PepsiCo is back this season with a new mixology initiative that will feature a wide range of exciting, handcrafted beverages that make great use of their classic products that we all know and love. This new initiative is called DRIPS by Pepsi and will be available on select pop-up events in New York City. So what exactly is DRIPS by Pepsi?
DRIPS by Pepsi is a cool new initiative from PepsiCo that takes their well-known flavors and innovates them into an entirely new drink. It’s creative twist that will let customers explore eight unique creations. These creations include new flavors like Pepsi Forever S’mores, Tropicana Cotton Candy Lemonade, and Rockstar Pineapple Upside Down Cake. The way it works is that expert mixologists will take iconic PepsiCo brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Rockstar then mixes them h different syrups, creams, and other flavorful garnishes to create a new unforgettable beverage experience.
The DRIPS by Pepsi pop-up truck will begin showcasing these drinks around New York City starting in September. It will head to events like the Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in Central Park and Domino Park on Weekends.

- PEPSI Forever S’mores – Pepsi and S’mores on the same drink? That’s right! Your eyes do not deceive you. While this sounds like an unconventional flavor pairing, you can be sure that it’s going to be good. This drink blends Pepsi, coconut, and lime together and is topped with whipped cream and s’mores.
- STARRY Berry Basil – Starry is a drink that just seems primed to be mix with other flavors. This lemon lime drink is very versatile and can unlock lots of new flavor experiences. The Starry Berry Basil takes Starry and mixes it with strawberry and basil. It’s finished with diced strawberries and a lime wheel.
- DEW Chill Dill – Of course, Mountain Dew is also getting the DRIPS treatment. Mountain Dew’s signature flavor is already pretty zingy and citrusy on its own. But what if you added even more tang using pickles? The Dew Chill Dill takes the classic Mountain Dew and mixes it with cucumber and basil then garnishes it with a dill pickle spear.
- LIPTON Mango Horchata – Lipton’s iconic lemon iced tea is a fan favorite for a lot of people. It has a very distinct flavor that is great on its own but is even better when mixed with other ingredients. The LIPTON Mango Horchata takes Lipton’s Lemon iced tea and combines it with mango and coconut horchata. It’s served with some strawberry boba and cold foam.

I think DRIPS by Pepsi is an amazing new idea. Mostly because I love mixing and matching drinks to see which new flavors will come out. Remember when we were all kids, and we’d mix all the soda we have into one cup? This reminds me of that except its more sophisticated and actually carried out by expert mixologists. I think this is really a great idea and something to really be excited about. If you’re near an area where there is a DRIPS by Pepsi pop-up truck, then you should do yourself a favor and give it a try. These new drink creations sound amazing and who knows, if this succeeds, maybe we’ll get an official release of these new beverages.
