General Mills recently announce that they’re collaborating with none other than the Kelce brothers to introduce a new cereal mix. While we won’t see them appearing on the cover of a cereal, they are combining all their favorite cereals in one mix. Their top three favorites are Reese’s Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Lucky Charms.

The whole idea sparked from an episode of their “New Heights” podcast, where they ranked their favorite cereals. Travis and Jason both ranked Reese’s Puffs as their top choice, with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms following closely behind.

General Mills’ new limited-edition Kelce Mix includes all three cereals in one box offering a blend of chocolate-peanut butter puffs, cinnamon squares, and marshmallows. Travis Kelce is excited about the product, saying he might have found a new MVP for the cereal aisle.

To celebrate, General Mills will be revamping the packaging of their cereals including Reese’s Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Jason’s honorable mention, Honey Nut Cheerios, with a “Kelces’ Pick” stamp of approval. These new products will be available in stores nationwide this September, perfectly timed for the NFL season.

This sounds like an exciting new cereal courtesy of General Mills! September couldn’t get here any sooner. Stay tuned!

New Cereals From General Mills

General Mills has been the manufacturer of some of the best cereals we’ve seen. Almost all of our favorite cereals come from the brand and this year, they are expanding their already impressive cereal portfolio.

Cheerios Oat Crunch Berry

Cheerios are a classic breakfast cereal made from whole grains. Not only are they low in fat and calories, they’re also affordable and packed with essential vitamins and minerals. They aren’t sweet, they aren’t too crunchy, they are still good when soggy, and they just have an overall smooth taste. So when General Mills is making a new kind of Cheerios, you just know that it’s going to be good. The new Cheerios Oat Crunch Berry debuted this year and is made with whole grain oats and flavored with real berries as well as other natural flavors to make for a delicious, easy breakfast.

Sometimes, all you need to make a cereal even better is adding marshmallows. That’s exactly what General Mills did when they switched things up a lil bit for the fan favorite, Trix. Trix is a great fruity cereal that’s long been considered a classic in General Mills’ lineup. We’ve seen it go through other variations over the years, but this is the first time we’re getting it with bunny shaped marshmallows. It’s a simple change but it makes all the difference.

Best Cereal Combinations

The Kelce Mix sounds like an amazing mix of cereals. But did you know, there are plenty more out there you can try? While these may not be from the same box, putting them together in the same bowl will unlock a whole new cereal experience.

5 Random Cereal Pairings to Shake Up Your Breakfast Game 2

Trix + Joe’s O’s

Speaking of Trix, the fruity cereal has a versatile flavor profile that makes it great when paired with a plain tasting cereal. Something like Life or Cheerios. But what it really pairs well with are Trader Joe’s Joe’s O’s. Joe’s O’s add an extra satisfying crunch to the cereal while not overpowering the sweetness of Trix. This is a great cereal combination that you have to try; especially if you’re a fan of Trix.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch + Honey Nut Cheerios

This flavor combination tastes like they were literally made for each other. Both Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Honey Nut Cheerios are considered to be two of the best cereals of all time. So, it makes sense that putting them together would only lead to something great. If you like something nutty and sweet, this is the cereal mix you have to try at breakfast.

From The Club

Travis and Jason Kelce definitely know their cereal. They have excellent taste based on their list of favorites. The Kelce Mix is the first time we’re seeing all these cereals packaged together in one box. It’s an interesting mix, kinda like an all-star lineup of General Mills‘ cereals. Can’t wait to try it once it drops in September!
