With the holiday season in full swing, Pepsi is pulling its latest innovation straight from the oven.
After causing social media buzz due to its recent flavor drop, Wild Cherry & Cream, and a stunt video called “Undercover Cups,” Pepsi might cause commotion again with its latest holiday offering: Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Cans. This new flavor, however, has a super limited availability. And by that, I mean it won’t be available in retail stores like other holiday sodas. But there are two ways to get your hands on this festive drink. And not just that…Pepsi tapped Shaquille O’Neal to promote their latest flavor drop. Are you ready to learn all the details about this holiday offer? Let’s dive in!

Pepsi is offering ginger, spice, and everything nice this holiday season. With its Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Cans, fans can enjoy the classic sweet-citrusy soda in a magical way—with cinnamon, brown sugar, and molasses flavors. The Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Cans will be around for a limited time only until supplies last. If you want to give this holiday drink a try, you have two options to get it:
- Tiktok – By visiting Pepsi’s TikTok shop (@Pepsi), fans can snag a FREE Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Can when they purchase two 10-packs of the Original or Wild Cherry Mini Cans (7.5 ounces).
- Brand Giveaway – Another way is to visit the PEPSI DROPS platform via www.pepsi.com to enter for a chance to win Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread Mini Can. The giveaway runs until December 11, 2024, and winners will be chosen based on all qualified entries.

To bring more fun to the holiday season, Pepsi also challenged Shaquille O’Neal to become the Greatest Baker of All Time (G.B.O.A.T). In a special feature called “The Mini Holiday Baking Show,” Shaq uses the Pepsi Zero Sugar as “baking soda” and brings out his signature humor. Viewers can look forward to his unique attempts in creating a gingerbread shack that’s “Shaqalicious.”
Meanwhile, Pepsi’s Head of Brand Marketing, Jenny Danzi, expressed excitement over the release of their limited-edition holiday drink. This one-of-a-kind soda has the perfect blend of ginger zest and warm holiday sugars. She also shared that bringing Shaq’s hilarious antics to their social media platforms is another way to spread good cheer this season. The Mini Holiday Baking Show is now available on Pepsi’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels.
New and Upcoming Soda Releases
Besides Pepsi’s latest flavor drop, there are other holiday sodas coming to town and exciting new fizzy drinks that will trigger feelings of nostalgia. Don’t miss out on these must-try items:

- Starry’s Cranberry Blizz – Starry has unleashed the classic Christmas flavor, cranberry, and turned it into a soda that you’d hopefully love. The cranberry is combined with Starry’s signature crisp lemon-lime flavor, and is available in zero sugar option only.
- Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast – The iconic Baja Blast, which used to be an exclusive fast food soda, was made available in more stores this year. The drink is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and so Mountain Dew has been dropping exclusive items recently. The stand-out item? Walmart’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast x Kanga Cooler Bundle. This include a cooler bag with 6 pieces of 16.9-oz Baja Blast Bottles.
- Crush’s Electric Blue Razz – Crush’s new soda flavor will bring you back to the 80s, and will feature notes of blue raspberry. Fans have also gushed over the stunning can art, a strong rival to the graphics of Pepsi’s Wild Cherry & Cream. The Electric Blue Razz will be available in 12-oz cans by July 2025.

Who would’ve thought that gingerbread can be enjoyed in soda format? I think only Pepsi, as they released one of the most unique sodas I’ve seen so far this holiday season. Too bad, it’s not available in other stores. But hey, I think the actual process of getting that limited-edition soda is gonna be fun. Maybe next year, it’ll be easier for us to get it. Right, Pepsi?
