All things Paris and French culture is currently taking over the world by storm, particularly here in the U.S., where our own Olympians takes their part in the Paris Olympics. Plus, there’s no denying that a certain “Emily” is soon to make a comeback and take over our screens.
One French staple we all enjoy is the correct way to eat French Fries – with a side of mayonnaise of course, and one brand that stands out in being a perfect pair to french fries is none other than Hellmann’s Mayonnaise. Providing authentic french mayonnaise taste, the brand takes the French experience on another level with their special pop-up.

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is introducing a unique café experience centered around the delightful pairing of mayonnaise and French fries. Le Café Hellmann’s, a special pop-up in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, invites French fry lovers to enjoy this pairing for a limited time.
Opening its doors on July 31, you can say “bonjour” to a café that will feature a French-inspired atmosphere at Little Prince, located in the heart of New York’s SoHo neighborhood. The café will give visitors the chance to savor French fries served with their choice of Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, Garlic Aioli, or Plant-Based Mayo. The event is completely free for one day only and is aimed at encouraging people to embrace this European-style dipping tradition.
To create a lively and authentic experience, Le Café Hellmann’s will offer Kir Royale drinks and non-alcoholic French 75 mocktails. Guests will enjoy charming bistro lighting and accordion music, providing a taste of Paris right in the heart of New York. Plus, the first 300 attendees will receive blue berets branded with the Hellmann’s logo, adding an extra touch to the authentic French experience.

Tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting from 3 PM to 7 PM, and there’s also a fun surprise for visitors named “Emily“, which requires a valid ID to receive a special treat.
Chris Symmes, Head of Marketing for Dressings and Condiments at Unilever North America, expressed his excitement about celebrating this iconic condiment pairing, hoping to transport guests to France and create memories around this delightful combination.
After the promotion, Little Prince will continue its regular dining service, where customers may start requesting mayo with their fries more often.
If you’ve got plans on the 31st and will be unable to attend the café, don’t worry, Hellmann’s got your back. You can share your own mayo and fries experiences by tagging @hellmannsmayonnaise and using the hashtag #LeCafeHellmanns on social media.

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise has been a kitchen and dining staple in our home and to our satisfaction, it always provided a delicious mayonnaise for our dipping pleasure. Now, they’re bringing Paris and the French experience to the US, and you can tell I’m stoked and excited to share this with our fam. I could only wish I could be a guest at the pop-up café, but I’ve got social media to back me up, and I could do with that. Still, kudos and Merci Beaucoup to Hellmann’s for this unique experience!
