Hellmann’s knows the struggle at the beginning that’s why they’re offering some mayotivation to fans of underdog teams by providing the essentials for a successful watch party.

In the next four Sundays, starting September 29, 2024, Hellmann’s will hit the road in a tailgate-inspired RV to deliver game day food spreads. This is the brand’s way of spreading some mayotivation to fans of underdog teams, ensuring that everyone will enjoy game days. In addition, Hellmann’s is uniting the worlds of mayonnaise and football by covering the food spread for watch parties. This should remind everyone that mayo has always been a tailgating favorite and it’s an ingredient that completes game day dishes.
Every Sunday, America’s #1 mayonnaise brand will visit the home city of an underdog team, covering the food spreads for groups of 5 to 6 fans. More generous rewards await, including merch and other mayotivating surprises. The tour’s first stop is in Jacksonville, Florida, wherein fans can also meet “Manny Mayo,” Hellmann’s new mascot.

Hellmann’s in the Football Scene
This year, Hellmann’s efforts to deepen its footprint in the world of football has been noticeable. Aside from launching its mayotivating RV tour across the country, the brand made social media buzz because of its other collaborations and marketing activities during this season.
- Will Levis No. 8: Hellmann’s partnered with star quarterback Will Levis to launch the Will Levis No. 8, the first-ever mayo-inspired fragrance. It’s been described to have coffee undertones, musk, vanilla, tart lemon, and of course, mayonnaise accord. According to the mayo brand, the parfum de mayonnaise has been created to give off an aura of greatness and a rich and creamy essence. Aside from the launch of a unique perfume, Hellmann’s also tapped Will Levis for a series of 15-second TV spots where the quarterback shares humorous motivational statements.
- Shoppable QR codes: To widen the promotion of its product, Hellmann’s is also utilizing shoppable QR codes on CBS Sports and The Drew Barrymore Show. This transforms and most likely improves the ordering experience of customers and sports fans whenever they see Hellmann’s product on TV screens.
