There’s a new Oreo O’s flavor coming out and you’ll never guess what it is!
Over the years, Oreo O’s has been one of the more underrated brands of cereal. Not a lot of people are talking about it but it has steadily grown a massive following. They’ve been manufactured by Post Consumer Brands who also owns other popular cereals like Fruity Pebbles and Bran Flakes. With Post in charge, you bet that they can take Oreo O’s into a higher level. We haven’t seen much changes with the classic cereal but it looks like that’s set to change with this new release.

Post Cereals has launched a brand new limited edition never before seen variant of Oreo O’s cereal: Mint Chip. The classic Oreo O’s has always been a hit, mixing a unique blend of flavors that includes the distinct Oreo taste with marshmallows. The new Mint Chip Oreo O’s won’t include those signature marshmallows but instead, as the name suggests, will include mint chips. Anyone who loves mint-flavored food or enjoys the mix of mint and chocolate will find a lot of things to love in this new cereal.
At the moment, the Mint Chip Oreo O’s were spotted in stores like Giant but it should be available at any retailer that sells Post Cereal products.

Best Limited Edition Oreo O’s
There hasn’t been too many Oreo O’s cereals out there. I mean the original flavor works pretty well and as we all know, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. But when Post Consumer Brands releases a new flavor, it always makes waves. So apart from the new Mint Chip Oreo O’s, which ones are the best?
Mega Stuf Oreo O’s
This version of the Oreo O’s is literally the same as the original but it has an extra dose of cream filling just like the Mega Stuf Oreo cookies. These contain mini marshmallows that along with the chocolate flavored Oreo O’s gives a sweet and rich taste. They were launched back in 2019 but has made a comeback just this June 2024.

Golden Oreo O’s
The Golden Oreos were a great twist on the classic Oreos. It had the same cream filling but it’s sandwiched between two vanilla flavored cookies made with golden yellow wheat flour. They have a sweeter taste and had a less intense flavor which made them a fan-favorite. This version of the Oreo O’s does just the same but in cereal form.

Most Unique Cereals of All Time
Cereals have been a breakfast staple ever since they were invented back in 1863. Since then, they’ve evolved from bland digestive aids to the sugary treats we know them as today. We’ve seen lots of great cereals pop up over the years and some of them were pretty unique. It’s like those cereals that you did not expect to exist.

Drumstick Cereal
Drumsticks has been long considered a classic dessert. It’s the trademark ice cream brand that first introduced the concept of an ice cream cone featuring a scoop of vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate syrup, and covered in nuts. It took a long time but General Mills saw the potential in it being a cereal so it was introduced in the breakfast world back in 2019 as the Drumstick Cereal. It really captured the taste and essence of the frozen treat it was based on. Sadly, it was discontinued after a brief stint in grocery shelves.

Dunkin Mocha Latte
This one was truly a surprise hit. Unlike the Wendy’s Frosty Cereal, which failed to capture the magic of the classic fast food dessert, Dunkin’s Mocha Latte Cereal really does taste like coffee. It has that strong mocha taste and marshmallows that provide that sweet cream flavor that pairs well with the coffee. This is truly an innovative form of breakfast; one that perfectly combines coffee with cereal. Here’s hoping that we could see more of this as we don’t get too much coffee-based cereal.

From The Club
I’m a huge fan of Oreo O’s since they’re my favorite cereal of all time. It’s just pretty different from all the chocolate-based cereal we’ve had so far and has this distinct aftertaste that keeps me coming back for more. The new Mint Chip Oreo O’s is definitely an interesting new variant. I like mint chocolate candy bars so I’m pretty sure I’m in the target demographic of this new cereal. Post Consumer Brands is definitely onto something here and I wish they’d release more fun stuff like this. I can’t wait to try it!
