Christmas is coming, and so are the sweet treats that come along with it! Have you planned the dessert for your Holiday feast? If not, don’t worry; we’re bringing you the ultimate Holiday cake lineup to grace your dinner table.
Christmas and cakes have been synonymous with one another as they can be traced back to the Middle Ages. Cakes started out as plum porridge. Christmas Eve marks the day of religious fasting, followed by a feast afterward of pottage, which is a soup made out of boiled beef, fruit, and spices, along with bread and oats. It was around the 16th century when bread and oats were replaced with butter, eggs, and flour, which became the cake that is always present in every celebration.
Do you feel the excitement of the Christmas spirit already? Let’s dive in!
Chocolate Crème Pie
Starting off with the classic chocolate that started the company that offers most of our favorite chocolate is Hershey’s! We know how Hershey’s market themselves as the chocolate brand that you can get everywhere — from syrups, baking needs, ice cream, and even their own merchandise line.
The following cakes are actually Crème Pies, which is a type of pie filled with custard or pudding. But these featured Crème Pies are filled with chocolate from the brands that we know and love. Golden West Food Group partnered up with Hershey’s to bring fans a chocolatey pie worth craving for. They’re available at Wakefern Stores, WinCo Stores, and Kroger Stores.
Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie
This Holiday season, Golden West Food Group is bringing us the new Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie. It features a Hershey’s cocoa-flavored creme filling in a pastry crust that’s also chocolate-flavored. Serving as decoration is the whipped cream on the top of the pie with chocolate shavings that are also made with Hershey’s. If you’re a fan, I’m sure that you won’t get enough of this chocolatey treat.

S. Pellegrino Cheese “Cake”
Yup, you read that right! We’re getting a Pellegrino Cheesecake! For 125 years, Pellegrino has been celebrating with us on every occasion, much like cakes. Do you get the connection? 🤣 S. Pellegrino and actor Stanley Tucci are bringing us the S. Pellegrino & Stanley Tucci’s Holiday Cheese “Cake,” which is a limited edition layered “cake” made out of cheese.

This treat features three distinct wheels of cheese from Murray’s Cheese. The top layer has a La Tur, which is a soft-ripened cheese that resembles an ice cream. The middle layer is made out of a Mini Brie that brings a smooth hint of earthy mushroom. The base layer is made of Cave Aged Reserve Cornelia, which has a taste of butter and roasted nuts. Topping all of the layers is Buonatavola Provolone to give a zesty kind of flavor.
You can order this unique Cheese “Cake” now at Murray’s Cheese’s official website. The Cheese “Cake” includes a 1L bottle of S. Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, a star-shaped cutter, and c*cktail napkins that are S. Pellegrino-themed. Each Cheese “Cake” serves around 8-12 guests and is priced at $85, which includes the expedited shipping.

From The Club
It’s been a while since I had a sweet treat, and these cakes came just in time! The cake I’m most excited about is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Crème Pie as a Reese’s fan. I’m also down to try the two other cakes from Hershey’s and S. Pellegrino’s Cheese “Cake.” Looks like I’ll be treating myself this Holiday season.
